According to McKinsey data, autonomous AI agents are projected to orchestrate up to $5 trillion (£3.7 trillion) in global retail spend by 2030, yet the vast majority of current web listings lack the machine-readable structure those agents need to buy things. Trustap will utilize the $10m injection to scale its team and launch "Trustap Index," a brand-new processing layer that transforms fragmented human-facing inventory into consolidated, structured data. This lets conversational AI models handle end-to-end product discovery, price negotiation, and secure routing while maintaining standard fraud prevention checks and mandatory human verification before escrow funds are released.
